As you browse through our website and you see an item you wish to purchase, simply click on the 'add to cart button' and the item will be added into your shopping cart. To continue shopping click on 'new search' and you can continue browsing the site. If you want to check the contents of your cart at any stage click on 'view shopping cart'.

Once you have finished adding items to your cart click on 'go to checkout' and you will be prompted for payment details. At this stage we only accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, and Bankcard online. We can accept American Express and Diners card, you will need to contact us regarding using these cards. We also accept cheques and money orders but your order will be delayed if you choose this method as we need to wait to receive the cheque/money order and for it to clear before we can process your order.

Once you have proceeded through the payment gateway you will be given a 'web order number' It will look like WWW01234. Please either print out this screen or note down this number as you will need it if you want to call us to check on your order status.

Please note: If you are ordering from outside Australia, please do not place your order via this site;  e-mail unibooks at open@unibooks.com.au with your required textbooks and delivery address and we will reply promptly with a quotation including shipping.


All our parcels are shipped using Toll Express couriers. Typically, once a package leaves our warehouse it should arrive to you within 24-48 hours. Toll Express cannot deliver to post office boxes, so if you don't have a street address available we will need to send your package via Australia Post, which can delay delivery of your package.

Unibooks takes care to ensure that all our customers packages are delivered in a timely and efficient manner but we cannot be held responsible if incorrect delivery information is provided by the customer. Please make sure that all the delivery information that you provide us is correct so we can ensure delivery.

Please be aware that orders placed through our website cannot be picked up at one of our retail stores.

If you are located outside Australia your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. These charges are always the recipient's responsibility and Unibooks cannot be held responsible for any delays in orders because of such fees and import duties.

The sole obligation of Unibooks arising from any order you place shall be to use its best endeavours to provide the book or publication which you order and to do so within a reasonable period of time. In no event shall Unibooks be liable for any other claims or damages arising from the loss of or use of any book or books so ordered or purchased.

In proceeding to order any product you acknowledge that Unibooks does not make any representation or warranty regarding the books or any matter which is or might be relevant to you ordering the same other than representations and warranties clearly expressed on this website.


Unibooks will always do our best to have your book in stock when you need it but product availability may be affected by publisher supplies and cannot be guaranteed. Although our website indicates whether a book in stock or not this does not guarantee that a copy will be available to fill your order. If your book does go on to backorder we will let you know. It usually takes approximately 14 days for any back ordered titles to arrive in our warehouse.

Unibooks will always aim for the best possible prices for our customers. Unfortunately prices from suppliers do change without notice and we cannot be held responsible for any unforseen changes in product pricing.

Prices displayed on this website are for online purchases only. Prices in store may vary.

Apple products including software, hardware, iPods and accessories cannot be sold via this site.

Medical equipment cannot be sold via this site.

Computer software and accessories cannot be sold via this site.


If you would like to place a bulk order for a product (usually 10 or more of the same item) please contact us and we can arrange this for you.


All returns that have been ordered through our website need to be approved by our web order department. You may return books that remain in mint condition within two (2) weeks of receipt. Book containing CD-ROMS or discs, and packages originally wrapped in shrinkwrapped plastic cannot be returned once the seals on them have been broken. Once opened software cannot be returned. Please ensure that books are well packed to prevent damage, preferably in the original packing materials. All returns must be accompanied by the original receipt or a photocopy. No returns will be accepted without a copy of the receipt. Please ensure that any packages returned to Unibooks contain contact information, why you are returning the book and this receipt.


If you can't find the book you are looking for via our website please contact us and we will be happy to look for it for you. Simply email orders@unibooks.com.au and we will do our best to find it for you. We will advise you of the price and expected delivery time and then you can decide if you would like to order it. We have suppliers located all over the world so if it's in print we can get it for you!

These general competition rules apply to all Unibooks competitions, including online, instore and inprint promotions.
1: Unless otherwise specified only one entry is permitted per person.
2: Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
3: All prizes are accepted 'as is' and entirely at the risk of the winner. Unibooks excludes all warranties both implied and expressed in connection to the prize as permitted by law.
4: Unibooks, it's agencies, affiliates and suppliers, are not responsible for defective prizes or misuse of any prize or for any claims, liability, loss or damage arising out of or in connection with any competition run by Unibooks.
5: If a specified prize becomes unavailable through any circumstances Unibooks reserves the right to substitute said prize for a prize of equal value.
6: Winners are responsible for any taxes or incurred costs as a result of the prized being awarded.
7: All entries are submitted entirely at the risk of the entrant.
8: Unibooks may (as far as privacy legislation allows) incorporate information from entrants in any competition into any database used in connection to Unibooks business.
9: Unibooks reserves the right to terminate any contest at any time. In the event of such a termination Unibooks may, at it's discretion, elect not to award any prize in respect of the terminated contest.
10: All prizes must be collected within three (3) months of the date of notification. After that date all prizes will be dealt with as per legislative requirements. It is the sole responsibility of the competition winner to collect their prize.
11: All contests release from, and indemnify University Books Pty Ltd (trading as Unibooks) against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in any contest including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
12: Unibooks may publicise, print, display online or otherwise disclose a competition winner's name, and location (in accordance with privacy legislation). Unibooks may promote or advertise that a winner has won a contest.
13: Unibooks reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that Unibooks decides has broken any of these terms and conditions or the rules of the competition itself.
14: If the prize awarded is a Unibooks Gift Voucher normal Unibooks gift voucher conditions apply and the voucher is not redeemable for cash.
15: These General competition rules may be changed or amended by Unibooks at any time and without notice.
16: All winners will be chosen in a fair and equitable manner and Unibooks decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
