Open Universities Australia is owned and partnered by seven Australian Universities. Open Universities courses are developed by 18 academic providers. The units you study and the qualifications you achieve are issued by these universities and other providers, and are identical to those awarded to on-campus students. The only difference is you learn at your own pace, when and where it suits you.

Delivery times vary based on several factors including your destination address, where the titles are prior to assembly, and whether you have requested that we deliver your books as they become available or to consolidate your order into one despatch. In most cases your book will be despatched from our warehouse within 2-3 working days.

During the start of each semester the despatch time can vary dependent on how busy the order department is. Unfortunately it can take up to 10 days for packages to arrive. Please understand that at these times of year we experience extrememly high demand on resources, so unfortunately delays can occur. Contact us for more information.

If you are located outside Australia your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. These charges are always the recipient's responsibility and Unibooks cannot be held responsible for any delays in orders because of such fees and import duties.

IMPORTANT: If ordering from outside of Australia, please do not use the online system. Instead, contact us by fax, phone or email to place your order.

If you wish to return a book you ordered via mail orders or this site, please contact the Unibooks Open Universities Australia department on 1800 447 313 or open@unibooks.com.au to arrange the return. All returns must be authorised within 14 days of receipt of your package.
